So, why a foundation?
Scot loved to fly—It’s as simple as that. I want to help others achieve the goal of getting their wings and be inspired to live life just as my husband did: boldly and with a grateful, loving heart.
If you’ve ever met a pilot, you know their love for flying. It’s almost contagious. The escape to the sky is one that cannot be matched, or so I‘ve heard.
The plan is to allow the fund to grow with contributions this year while we finalize the scholarship application. Our goal is for the first distribution to be given out in 2022.
All fund proceeds will be handed out to pilots or aspiring pilots who need assistance funding flight hours, college flight classes, or any other programs to help achieve their wings.
